Love Pregnancy

When my grandma and I have time to talk (which i wish was more often) she shares her stories with me. One story in particular was how they used to get skinny after babies. She told me they used to wrap them self's as tight as they could around there waist and mid section right after having a baby, and keep it there for many months. I always laughed at her, but understood the concept after all where do we think corsets were used for.
So I never tried it, but I was watching Dr. Oz and Brooke Burke was advertising this.

So there you go, you can go the old fashion route or shoot for this. I know if I have another little bundle of joy that is what im going to test drive.
FYI: don't kill yourself getting back in shape, with healthy eating habits and nursing your body will do its thing. Enjoy that little Angel they grow fast.

Love Yourself!

Hair! The Hundreds, if not thousands of dollars some of us spend on our hair a year. But do you realize that its not just the dyeing, or the brushing wrong, or not getting trims that is ruining your hair..
Its Your Shampoo. Have you ever looked at the ingredients in your shampoo? Well I'm going to point out 1 for you, and this one might be enough to change your shampoo.
SLS-Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
"This inexpensive detergent is commonly used in cosmetic cleansers, hair shampoos, bath gels, bubble baths, etc. - In the cleaning industry SLS is used in garage floor cleaners, engine degreasers, car-wash soaps, etc. It is very corrosive and readily attacks greasy surfacesIt is probably the most dangerous ingredient used in skin and hair-care products."
SLS is known to have many effects that can potentially be detrimental to our health. Among the possible dangers are the following
The AJT report states that "Other studies have indicated that Sodium Lauryl Sulfate enters and maintains residual levels in the heart, the liver, the lungs and the brain from skin contact.>>that is some crazyness!
Its has also been linked to hair thinning, and baldness.
So why do we use it?? Well first off its Cheap! Ha go figure. Second It creates bubbles! That's right Bubbles.. For years we have seen shampoo commercials, and it always has 1 thing, a ton of suds on the head. Like a big white fluffy cloud. Needless to say we have been programed to think, the more bubbles the better..
Wrong! bubbles has nothing to do with cleansing, in fact to many bubbles is a sign of to much soap.

So we have this Agent, that is used to degrease vehicles, and has a numerous of side affect, >Good Times!
So now you might be wondering, why in the world would our Govt allow that?? answer :$$$..Second Q's, why doesn't anyone care??..2 part answer, A. $$ B. They don't know! That is why I'm sharing this with you. So you too can know.
OK how I came across this...
Ill be honest, I was sick of my beautiful red hair looking faded, flat, and lifeless. I wanted that bounce you see in magazines, so I went on the hunt. I then came across this. and boy oh boy did I get more than I bargained for. Not only did i save my hair, I could have saved my life, and not to mention my kids eyes.
Since using a SLS free shampoo my hair is like night and day, and I get compliments on it all the time. Go ahead and give it a shot, what do you have to loose... Well if you don't change quite possibly your hair, or even worse your vision.

Love Home cleaning

Cleaning tip of the day:
Throw things away! If you dont use it toss it. Set a time frame for your self. Mine happens to be years, haha.  6 mths to a year is a great time frame. If you dont use it in that time, say goodbye to it.
We cleaned our garage out today. Yes we are pack rats. But no more. Im an OCD type of person, which can work in my favor. If you have a hard time cleaning, or dont no where to start. Start by making a list..
My List
1. make 4 piles:
A. In the house
B. Good will
C. Resale store
D. Trash
2. Put boys toys in a section
3. Husbands tools in his section
4. Anybody elses stuff in truck to return to proper owners

Remember everything has a place, if you make sure of that its easier to clean up, and keep clean..My Favorite pile of the Day?? TRASH..yes cleaning is so much fun when it all gets thrown away..Happy Cleaning!

Love My Church

So Sunday is Church day. A day to go to Gods house, worship our Maker, and rest in His peace. This has been our typical Sunday for the last 6 years. You would think it would start to wear out its welcome, but I tell you what, its the only day of the week I look forward too, and the only day of the week that can guarantee its self  to always be different. So we attend a fairly large church, it brings in about 3,000, quite a change from our last of 300. I Love never seeing the same people twice, keeps it fun and interesting. Something I would not have enjoyed as much a few years back, but being a big city girl at heart we tend to crave large crowds. Did I mention it cuts way down on the gossip, don't no about you but that is appealing in its self.
We now attend a non-denominational Christian church, and have been here about 6 weeks. Before here we were at a small and quaint Assembly's church where I was saved, and  we grew, and was blessed to learn about ministry. It was definitely a life altering time in my life. But life started to change, and we entered into a new season. My husband and I decided that it was that time to take what we learned and use our Gifts at another church. So here we are. Church shopping is not easy at all. We tried 4 churches, all different visions and denomination, and yet we kept coming back to this one. Well doing what we were taught we prayed, got the green light, and plugged in. We absolutely Love our decision. Our Boys love there classes (which was my biggest fear since all they new was our old church) And we joined a small group with people our age and in our walk of life. Now what appealed to me about a large church was not running into the same people twice, but i cannot push how important it is to make personal relationships, to do that you must join a small group. A group that meets outside of "Sunday church"(crazy right, church other than Sunday!) So having a core group around you is great. They keep you accountable, they give you a shoulder, and most of all they pray for you. 3 very important things. Well enough about our move..since this will be my Sunday blog it will always be about the Lord/church etc. Today Id like to share with you some neat little facts about "church" :
*Tom Rainer shares that through a poll he has learned 2 facts:
1.People choose a church due to who is preaching, BUT
2.They stay because of the people.
Hmm interesting, I guess the body is more important than they think...
With that id like to end with the importance of your attitude, you truly never no who is watching, and who's life it actually affects.
